For sale is my MGF 1. 8, Steptronic/ automatic, first registered March 2001. I’ve owned the car for 2 years now.

- MOT until June 2026 with no advisories.
- Copper leaf red metallic paint with full leather interior.
- Black hard top and stand included in sale. Also included hard top liner with fabric covering.
- Recent service and check over by MG specialist McFadden Classic Sports Cars.
- Soft top in good condition with no holes or tears. Goes up and down without issue.
- Supplied new by Ames Rover of Bury St Edmunds.
- Bluetooth radio with hands free calling and charging ports.
- Spare wheel.

Gearbox is very smooth, can hardly tell car is changing gear. Sports mode/ manual mode works well, can change gears through gearstick or on steering wheel.
No issues with head gasket, no overheating or loss of coolant. Was checked at recent service also and is in good condition.
No rust areas on underside of the car, or on sills or wheel arches. Only small area of bubbling is under driver door mirror as pictured. Paint is original and 25 years old so has some scratches, but in generally good condition.
2 interior fan speeds have blown due to a worn resistor, a new resistor will be included in the sale. This is a common fault, I have not yet fitted due to not having the time.
Intermittent engine light on dash. Fault code reader brought code back P0170. This comes on when low on fuel but goes off when car is filled up. Have spoken with MG specialist regarding this and is most likely a faulty sensor and doesn’t affect running of car. Selling due to lack of space unfortunately. The car has been great and always gets lots of attention at shows and when driving. I’ve take the car to shows in the Midlands from Scotland, such as Pride of Longbridge and MGF30, and had no issues on the long distance drives.
