In brief, new floor, door skins (front & rear) wings, front panel, bonnet, valances, rear subframe, every bearing bush pin rubbers etc, all new pipework, new wheels/ tyres, new chrome work, reupholstered with now heated seats, new headlining, new bespoke floor coverings made to measure, heated front screen, race front discs for superb braking, servo, engine rebored & rebuilt new bearings pistons rings oil pump chain etc etc, gearbox stripped & rebuilt with all bearings replaced, all aluminium vapour cleaned, updated radiator, this car is better than new as everything is sealed & protected properly as it was built and the underside Raptor coated, these restorations go through for £50k upwards. The vehicle is classed historic meaning £0 tax & mot exempt. It was an estate car but I put van side panels in during the build as I wanted a van but prefer the clubman front end giving more space to work in the engine bay. It really has to be seen & driven to believe how well it drives and good it feels with a healthy dose of poke when you put the slipper down… restored at my place of employment (The Mini Restoration Company).
