1980 Opel Rekord Berlina E1 2. 0 Auto Petrol Saloon 43k Miles From New! Runs and Drives well, Paint work is a bit shabby on the roof, but its okay if you like patina! There are a few small bits of rust on the car. But nothing structural.
The engine while strong, has an oil leak on the fuel pump. But i’ve been told it is an easy fix for someone who knows what they are doing! Best to keep an eye on the oil pressure gauge while driving!
I believe there to be a small fuel leak from one of the breather pipes on the tank but this is only noticeable when you fill the tank to full.
The battery light does glow when driving so may need an alternator soon.
Interior is in fairly good condition for a 46 year old car! The seats are so comfortable!
It can be driven away. Though buyers should be aware that this is a 46 year old car and is SOLD AS SEEN.
