I have for sale an immaculate Mercedes 190e 2 litre automatic, finished in Mercedes Anthracite, DB 172, with grey cloth and Zebrano Wood finish.
First registered 1990…….. and showing only 29. 000+ miles.
The chronology is that the original owner after having 3 Mercedes Services put it into his private collection, hence the very low millage, and used it only to appear at shows and rallies. It was eventually sold on and then purchased by myself.
I bought it in December 2024, when again it was put into Dry Storage and has only covered 1, 000+ miles, since. If stored for any length of time it would be routinely taken out for maintenance runs, to maintain engine t’s and p’s, and to get heat into the exhaust and tyres, etc.
The car has refurbished 15 Hole Gullideckells and shod with new matching Continentals all round with only 1000 miles of use. I had installed a Becker, “Classic”, Mercedes Radio/ Cassette, which is appropriate for a car of that era, and sets off the impeccable interior.
It runs extremely well as you would expect, regular serviced by Mercedes specialist and only OEM’s fitted where possible. Fuelled with ESSO Synergy E5, low ethanol, if any ethanol at all.
The unmarked interior has Vacuum/ electrical Tilt and Slide Sunroof, and Windows all round and automatic aerial. All work quietly and smoothly without hesitation, the original First Aid Pack is in the unwarped rear compartment. Door cards as can be seen are in excellent condition.
The boot comes with a removable tough Boot Liner to protect the immaculate luggage compartment.
The underside is very clean and shows the original Mercedes Under-Seal and spring markings, with no requirement for additional protection. The bodywork had Mercedes Paint Preservation, which attributes to its excellent condition.
All service receipts mot’s, etc, as expected, are available.
It truly is a serene car to drive, all controls work impeccably without any rattles and the gearbox is tight. All shut lines and Sacco Boards are straight and panels have even panel gaps.
Currently MOT‘d without any advisories to run till June …

Small nitch to passenger door card. See photo.
Inevitable stress crack to dash around rear Interior Light Switch, “Taxi Light”, hardly noticeable.
Steel spare. Sorry no bolts.
Small rust area to back box.
Major Service carried out when I became its new owner. A 30, 000 mile service carried out in October, with no further work needed.
I believe these are the original wheel trims.
