Supplied new by Ocean Garage Blackpool on 29 June 1966, to a Doctor living in nearby Lytham. Who owned the MGB until 30 September 1969 and covered 26, 000 miles.
The second owner Alan Willacy, a nurse working for the NHS then owned it until 9 March 2018 when it was left to me in his will as I am a now retired MG specialist who looked after the MG for him in his long term ownership.
The MGB has now covered 37743 miles and is very original only ever having had a respray mid seventies (invoice to the value of £200 for respray new exhaust and mud flaps).
New leather seat covers were fitted in 2011.
The hood is original as it spent most of its life in the loft as he would only use the car on sunny days with dry roads utilising the original full tonneau cover.
I have the original buff log book and a quantity of invoices.
The paintwork is as you would expect, not perfect but still very good with a good shine.
The bodywork is completely original having never being restored and rust free due to the underside being oiled every year of Alan's ownership.
This MGB needs to be seen to be believed.
