1999 Land Rover Discovery 1 3. 9 V8 Automatic. Very Rare and Exceptional Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Model. Petrol Automatic with 94, 798km (58, 905 miles). Atlantis Blue (iridescent) with chrome trim. Vehicle was repatriated from Japan in 2019 and has been in dry storage since. The vehicle is in stunning condition near concours especially so when viewed from underneath. Japan do not use salt on the roads plus driving milage is limited the result being low mileage with no corrosion.

I have not seen many of these for sale over the years but believe this is one of the best examples of a rare fast appreciating classic. When I purchased this vehicle I was blown away by it immaculate condition looking like it had just come out of the showroom. At that time i owned 3 other Discovery 1's and this stood above all of the others. I took it to a few local shows to show it off but have dry stored since then as I felt it was too valuable to allow on UK roads and put additional miles on it. It is a real stunner and i will be very sorry to see it go however I would like to enjoy the its value in other ways now. Undoubtably it will increase in value over the coming years as a rare special edition of which only 1000 or just over were manufactured
