First year of manufacture and registered as a historic vehicle. Owned since 2022. New tyres. Professionally repainted wheels. New fuel pump. YSS rear shock absorber. Reconditioned radiator. Reconditioned rear caliper. New battery. Injectors all refurbished. New hall sensor. Not perfect on the body but certainly presentable. Rides very nicely and sounds very sweet. When hot the idle can be a little erratic and if I was keeping it I would probably replace the brake hoses. The perspex has also been cracked on the clocks. Irritating but an easy fix. I was looking for an R series having owned a couple back in the day but saw this and couldn't really get my head around the fact that it was just about to turn 40. I still can't. Such an iconic machine. Modern bike riders love this bike and always want to stop and talk about it.
