Description
For sale is my lovely 1992 Corvette C4 with the manual 6 speed gearbox. The colour is called Quasar Blue.
The C4 was a poster car for me when I was a child and it was an itch I had to scratch. After 3 years of ownership it is now time to sell.
The condition of this corvette is excellent. The paint is in great order, no scratches, no blistering. I have had the car polished and ceramic coated and everyone who sees it always comments on how good the paint looks.
The interior is in similar condition. Everything is in excellent order. Everything works. No issues to report.
During my 3 years of ownership no expense has been spared. When I purchased the car, it was already very good, but I have spent money doing things to make it even better. Some details below:
- Radiator replaced. The old one had not failed but it looked old, possibly the original.
- Alloy wheels refurbished, not a mark on them.
- Headlining replaced with black Milano suede , still in mint condition
- New rear tailpipes with backbox delete to release that v8 sound track. I have kept the originals.
- New Bilstein shock absorbers all round, again the originals had not failed but had seen better days
- New rear brake pipes as there was some corrosion on the originals and I can't stand advisories on MOT's
- Bluetooth headunit and speaker upgrade. I have all the original Bose equipment also.
The car drives so well, and the gearbox is lovely with no crunching.
Everything works including the air con and electric seats.
With only 49k miles on the clock, this car has not had a hard life and under my ownership has always been garaged.
I am the 5th owner, and from what I understand the original US owner imported this into the UK himself.
