This 1999 Z3 2. 8 is the total summer package in superb condition and supplied with everything needed to enjoy the car - rare and desirable hard top, stand, storage bag, wind deflector, tonneau cover, etc. Finished in hellrot red (best colour imo) this example is now in stunning condition and is backed by a ring binder absolutely full of service history. Mechanically these cars suffer from the elements but no such problems here as this car has been completely overhauled with new sills from BMW, rear wings, z8 grills, even a new roof that I travelled to Swansea for. What a trip!
Having owned a number of these I can testify whilst there are many smaller variants the 2. 8 6cyl engine, considered by many to be the best is an absolute joy. This is my second z3 and i think the looks have aged so well. In my ownership I’ve brought this up to an impeccable standard going above and beyond in the last couple of years to end up with a cracking example. Up top the red paint is gleaming and underneath the car has undergone a full lanoguard treatment to protect it in the future. Unusually for this model it comes with an extensive specification inc rare heated leather seats. The original blaupunkt head unit (couple of pixels missing) and connected cd changer are still in place as I am a fan of originality but this could be easily updated by the new owner if desired. Thinking about it now I’ve spent a small fortune satisfying my ocd lol. The car is transformed by considerable mechanical expenditure to support the genuine 114k mileage.
Paperwork wise the car is mot’d to end of Nov 26 but has done very little mileage since, hence why I have decided to sell.
