Description
Audi S2 Coupe 1991
I’ve revised the advert slightly since I first listed it. I’ve taken the recaro seats out and re installed the original leather seats. I’m also not including any spares with the vehicle, if you’d like any of them they can be negotiated separately. I’ve adjusted the price accordingly down to £14, 500 Ovno
With a heavy heart I’ve decided the time has come to put my S2 up forsale. Where to start, I’ve had this car 6/ 7 years and I’ve spent that time restoring and upgrading it as I went along.
Firstly it won’t come with my private reg, it was originally a H reg.
It’s had a glass out respray a couple of years ago in Audi mythos black, and looks absolutely stunning, paint work is still in good condition.
It’s had all sorts of work done in the past few years, I’ve got loads and loads of paper work for parts that have been bought etc.
To list a few of the parts off the top of my head;
Modern brake booster/ servo conversion
TT RS brembo brake cailpers
Electronic power steering pump conversion
New RS2 style Grill
New radiator
New auxiliary radiator
Replacement breather pipes
Replacement coolant pipes
Cambelt and water pump last year.
Replacement rear subframe powder coated
Completely polybushed rear subframe and arms etc
Polybushed front subframe, although this was only painted and would benefit from being powder coated or painted again.
White line upgraded rear anti roll bar.
Custom stainless 3” exhaust system from down pipe back (fairly loud, but I do have a silencer that could be fitted included with the sale).
It comes on genuine 18” BBS RS2 split rim alloy wheels.
Finally with every classic car (especially old Audi’s) there are a few minor issues that I’m aware of, but nothing that stops it from being driven or enjoyed.
Could do with 4 new tyres, tread depth was advised on last mot.
Headlining needs retriming. (Tidy headlining available with the car)
Door cards need work / a retrim, but has presentable ones fitted.
Has a small oil leak, suspected sump gasket, but doesn’t loose much.
Some of the factory underseal is now pealing away, it’s not rotten but would benefit from something like dry ice blasting and a fresh undercoating applying. I was going to do this this summer but now the time has come to sell it, I’d rather potential buyers see how solid the car is, than see a car that’s covered in underseal, if that makes sense.
The car its self is on 195 thousand miles (may rise as I’m still using the car) with service history to back up a large proportion of these miles.
There is several spare parts available which can be negotiated separately ;
Original brake calipers.
Original catalytic converters. (Pre 1992 car so cats aren’t required for mot)
Original black leather door cards.
Original headlights.
Original air box.
Assorted silicone pipes for engine bay.
Non original spare wheel.
Original orange indicator lenses.
Original rear subframe.
Black flocked headlining in good condition
A/ B pillar trims in black.
To answer a popular question I had, I’m not after any swaps or px change, unless you have an Audi s3 8p 5 door and a decent bit of cash on top.
