Description
1952 BSA B31 (350cc) – Complete Project – Runs & Rides
Price: £2, 200
Description:
The Good: A complete, unmolested example of the classic 350cc British single.
It starts and runs and the engine sounds strong with that classic "thumping" note. Gearbox selects all four gears and the clutch is functional, though likely needs adjustment.
The Bad: Visually in poor condition. The tinware has dings and surface corrosion; the chrome on the tank is pitted. It currently has the typical "oil-tight" BSA leaks from the primary case and head.
Overall: This is an ideal "oily rag" runner or a solid base for a full nut-and-bolt restoration. No missing major parts—just needs a dedicated owner to bring it back to its former glory.
Paperwork: V5C present and in my name. Believed to be 1952, but registered on V5c in 1982. Bought by my husband in 2011, it has awaited restoration. Unfortunately he is no longer with us so the bike is to be sold.
