1982 Honda CB1100RC for sale.
A complete bike that has been off the road for a decade.
Sadly, my circumstances have changed dramatically and I have to put my much loved and 2nd 1100R up for sale.
Work done to date:
Complete engine rebuild with Wiseco pistons and rings.
Powder coated frame and swing arm.
Powder coated ancillaries such as fairing brackets, battery box etc
Rebuilt forks
Replica 4/ 2 exhaust system plus original system included.
Good condition gold comstars back and front
I imported this bike from a well-known 1100R restorer in the Netherlands and road it for a couple of years, including a trip to the Isle of Man.
When the bike started burning a bit of oil I had the engine stripped and rebuilt by a local motorcycle engineer of good standing.
Please note: this bike has only done a couple of hundred miles since the engine rebuild. It is not being sold as a runner as the Wiseco big bore kit caused problems for the original starter clutch (a known issue) and I was in the process of replacing it with the much heralded R6 upgrade – parts included).
Sadly, a significant change in my circumstances meant that I no longer have the facilities to finish it off, get it running again and back on the road. To anyone that is moderately mechanically capable this is a chance to get a true classic of the 80s for a bargain price.
