1979 American import Yamaha XS650SE.
Classed as ENGLISH HISTORIC vehicle so does not need MOT or road tax 13, 750 miles
V5 in my name with English number plate
The bike has been restored and is in extremley good condition
I have fitted the following
New main drive chain and both sprockets
New voltage rect. regulator
New Motobat Battery.
Brake units have been stripped and serviced
New front brake pads
New starter motor engagement gear and spring so no starter issues
New valve timing chain tensioner
Petrol tank professionally stripped and repainted
New English number plate but not yet fitted
Handle bars changed to a 4. 5inch rise, the original high rise ones comes with the bike.
I have decoked and lapped in valves and glazed busted both bores
Each bore measures within 0ne thousands (. 001”) of nominal and are perfectly round.
All in all the bike is in excellent condition cheap to run, has excellent brakes and represents a good investment

I bought this from DK of Newcastle and completed its restoration some months ago.
