Description
2004 Alpina B7 E65 | #52 of 803 | 26, 000 Miles | Individual Specification | Collectors Grade Example
I am offering for sale my 2004 Alpina B7, number 52 of just 803 examples produced worldwide, a rare and increasingly collectible modern classic. The B7 is based on the E65 BMW 7 Series but was comprehensively re-engineered by Alpina, both mechanically and aesthetically, to create one of the most discreet yet capable luxury performance saloons of its era.
Alpina transformed the standard 745i by increasing power from 333 bhp to an impressive 500 bhp through the addition of a bespoke supercharger system, alongside numerous chassis and mechanical upgrades. The result is effectively a four-door luxury supercar, delivering immense performance while maintaining the refinement and comfort expected of a flagship executive saloon.
At the time of production, Alpina’s conversion almost doubled the cost of the donor 745i. In hindsight, this created a truly special car that sits in a completely different league from the standard model—combining effortless pace with exceptional comfort, something Alpina has always been renowned for.
My car is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic, which perfectly suits Alpina’s understated design philosophy. The Alpina styling cues are present but discreet, giving the car an elegant near-factory appearance. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in Nasca leather in Natur-Braun with black accents, complemented by bespoke Alpina veneers and an exceptional level of equipment including front and rear climate-controlled seats and full electric adjustment throughout.
The car spent the majority of its life in Japan, benefiting from salt-free roads and careful ownership, and comes with a full Japanese service history. It is supplied with all original manuals, the leather document wallet, two keys, and supporting service invoices, providing a complete and well-documented history.
The vehicle was UK registered in 2025, with all import duties and taxes fully paid, and is ready to be enjoyed immediately.
Total mileage is just 42, 000 kilometres (26, 000 miles), which is exceptionally low for a car of this age and rarity.
Since arriving in the UK, the car has been fully serviced by Alpina and BMW specialists BMR Performance, where I chose to carry out a comprehensive service rather than simply an inspection. The work included:
Engine oil and filter
Gearbox and differential fluid replacement
Spark plugs
Engine air filters
Cabin/ pollen filters
Full coolant flush
Brake fluid replacement
For additional peace of mind, the car will be supplied with a fresh health check from BMR Performance for the new owner. The MOT is valid until October.
The car is HPI clear, with no accident history and no outstanding finance.
I may also be open to discussing the private registration number with the new owner, should this be of interest.
Rare, low-mileage, correctly numbered and exceptionally well maintained, this Alpina B7 represents a fantastic opportunity to own a discreet yet hugely capable modern classic, with genuine long-term collector appeal.

Kindly note that I would prefer to be contacted by serious buyers only. This is a particularly rare example, and I am hoping to sell it to a like-minded enthusiast or collector who understands and appreciates the significance of the car.
With Alpina B12 models now trading close to six figures, the B7 is widely regarded as one of the next Alpina models likely to appreciate in value. As such, this represents an opportunity to acquire a genuinely collectible, investment-grade vehicle rather than a typical depreciating asset.
