A first-year production 1983 Land Rover One Ten — reimagined through a complete nut-and-bolt restoration and carefully refined as a Beach Runner. Early cars like this mark the beginning of the Defender lineage, and remain some of the purest expressions of the platform.
Finished in Bronze Green from the original Series colour palette, the exterior carries a timeless, understated presence. Not overbuilt, not overdone — just clean, purposeful, and true to its roots.
Beneath the surface, everything has been rebuilt with intent. The original matching-numbers 3. 5 V8 has been upgraded to performance specification, featuring a performance camshaft, high-compression pistons, Edelbrock 500 CFM carburettor, and uprated intake manifold — delivering a sharper, more responsive driving experience while retaining its classic character.
Paired with the lightweight 3-door configuration and simple, mechanical setup, it offers the kind of analogue feel that defines these early Land Rovers.
Inside, Denim Twill seating and matching trim keep things period-correct, while allowing seating for up to eight — a nod to its utility and versatility.
