Location
The car is located in the Bergamo area, Italy, and is available for viewing by appointment. I originally bought this Spider in the UK because I have always loved the classic Alfa Romeo design and the timeless elegance of the Pininfarina shape. For me, this car perfectly captures the spirit of traditional Italian open-top motoring, simple, engaging, and full of character.
After bringing it to Italy, it became even more special to drive it on the kind of roads it was made for. The combination of the responsive 2. 0 Twin Cam engine, the sound, and the open-air experience makes every drive feel like an occasion. It is one of those rare cars that genuinely puts a smile on your face every time you drive it.
What really makes this car stand out is its overall originality, its condition, and its specification, the hardtop, the Nardi steering wheel, and the matching beige interior and soft-top cover give it a very refined and cohesive feel that you do not often find.
I have always enjoyed owning it, but the reason for the sale is simply that I do not spend enough time in Italy to use it as it deserves. It spends too much time in the garage, and this is a car that should be driven and appreciated.
It is a genuinely rewarding and enjoyable classic! easy to use, full of personality, and increasingly appreciated by collectors.
