1984 Mercedes 230E original blue paintwork with blue cloth interior. One family owned from new until l bought it 4 years ago. The bodywork, interior, chrome and paintwork are all in very good original condition except for a little bubbling under the paint at the corner of the rear window as shown in the photos. The first owner specified the following extras :-
5 speed manual gearbox, P. A. S., electric sunroof, alloy wheels, front central armrest, rear headrests, front window wind deflectors, cassette rack, front and rear mudflaps.
23 old MOT certificates show the mileage increasing to 72393 in 2012 when the Mercedes was put into storage until 2021 when it passed to the owner's son in law and tested at 72576 miles.
The car comes with the original full book pack and service book showing services at 958 mls, 6297 mls, 12141 mls, 19503 mls, 26867 mls, 30560 mls, 33529 mls, 37173 mls, 47440 mls, 54380 mls, 61370 mls and an invoice for a major service at 72450 mls including new exhaust, front road springs and rear brake pads. A new fuel pump has also been recently fitted.
The Mercedes is now MOT exempt, the last advisory free test expiring in March 2026. It is now reluctantly on sale, along with my other classics, due to loss of licence because of vision issues.
