The not so good bits:
-Very limited service history/ receipts prior to my ownership, whilst I have no reason to suspect the car was not serviced, there is only invoices/ receipts of 2 services, whilst I have the drivers pack the service book was lost, I have bought a spare genuine service book and use that for recording servicing during my ownership. The previous owner maintained servicing each year it was on the road.
-Minor rust to passenger wheel arches as to be expected (in miles better condition than other models you will find though and the drivers side was treated and repainted)
-Poor home DIY paint job on N/ S rear below the tailight above bumper (was done to treat rust which is fixed but in heinsight I should have got done professionally - line is clearly visible)
-'Taping off' job around the door handle on a paint job could have been better
-Minor blemishes to paintwork where you would expect to see them on a car of 23 years of age
Note: Whilst LED headlight bulbs are are currently installed, I have kept the halogen bulbs so you can swap out to your hearts content. The original radio and CD changer are available too. I purchased this off a life-long friend who owned it for roughly 10 years, he drove it for 2-3 years (mainly motorway miles) until it was stood for around 7 years due to financial reasons. Since I bought it off him it has undergone roughly £3k of restoration work and brought it back to life. I have kept all reciepts of work done and a spreadsheet tracking the work. Car will recieve a new service May 2026 when I put her back on the road (I alternative between vechiles).
She drives excellent and is a real joy to own. Turning over the engine in public is always a laugh as it always gets a glance or sometimes sets off car alarms parked next to it!
I am open to sensible offers but I am in no rush to sell. This particular model is sure to shoot up in value over the next few years as it has already claimed it's position as a modern classic.
