1996 Mercedes Benz SL320 (R129)(3. 2 Straight Six, 24v)
89, 000 miles (increasing gently with use) Azurite Blue. MOT until June 30th 2026. The car is now back on its original ‘N’ plate. (Note some of the pictures included the previous cherished plate)
Massive file of history. Serviced in March 2026 by independent ex Mercedes Tech. Oil Filter and Oil Change (to MB Spec), Air filter.
Transmission and torque converter fluid changed. Three track rods due to be replaced (works pending completion 16th April)
Hydraulic Fluid change for roof mechanism also completed in April 2026. Using correct Febi fluid per MB specification.
New Thermostat and Boot (trunk) struts fitted, all receipts provided
Wiring Loom is NOT affected as confirmed by the UK based and renowned R129. co (evidence provided)
The last owner had this car for 20 years and there are receipts as late as 2024 from Mercedes Benz.
I have added a period-correct Blaupunkt Radio/ Tape and 10-CD Changer in the boot/ trunk - All works perfectly as does the electric aerial. Original Harmann aerial to be provided as spare for parts.
Roof works perfectly. In fact everything on this car works as it should. All carpets and roof liner and hard top are in excellent condition.
