An iconic Ducati 900SS bevel-drive from the late 1970s, offered as a complete and honest example of one of Ducati’s most desirable air-cooled classics.
The bike presents very well with a strong, original character and correct period appearance throughout. A complete and usable machine, it remains true to its era and has clearly been maintained and preserved over time. UK registered as a 1978 model.
This motorcycle has remained with one dedicated owner from 1983 until 2024. Following the owner’s passing, I acquired the machine directly from his estate via a close lifelong friend. It has remained within the same extended ownership chain since approximately 1983 and has had only a small number of keepers over its lifetime.
This is not a concours or factory matching-numbers example and reflects a long working life, as is typical for motorcycles of this era. It has seen period use and repair over the years but remains a complete and honest machine that offers an accessible entry into 900SS ownership
The motorcycle is stored in my dry, secure garage in Portugal (EU). I am the UK-based owner. As the bike is on a current UK V5C and was never officially exported from the DVLA system.
