Description

1942 Nimbus Sport
750 cc
3 speed gearbox
WWII Danish bike. Only approximately 120 made this particular year (only 600 during the occupation years). There's evidence of a possible link to the Danish resistance.
I have address of original delivery in Copenhagen.
This bike was restored in Europe over ten years ago. Imported privately and never ridden or registered.
Has the rare chrome tank
I acquired it a year ago and went through the hoops and hurdles with Nova and DVLA and it is now registered and back on the road.
I'm selling it as I have a bike road trip around UK that's gonna cost me a couple of grand.
The bike has been independently valued at £7, 800-£10, 000 due to its historic pedigree and rarity
A restored bike (no paperwork on what work was done on Europe) stainless wheels with new tyres.
PX welcome, Im 70 y. o. and have had bikes from velo solex, scooters right through to 1900cc Yamaha in my long biking career. Not into sports bikes, but love the classics or classic car. These are unique in line, exposed valves 750 engine. Lovely to watch ticking over.
This bike is rare, maybe the sole survivor of that year. Also it's link to the Danish resistance.
