In the spring of 1980, a new generation of cars began to spread rapidly, first in Italy and then throughout Europe: the Fiat Panda. Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, the Panda immediately became a true icon. From June 1983, the all-wheel-drive Panda 4x4 was available, developed and built north of the Alps, in Graz, Austria, by Steyr-Puch. Some of these Pandas even participated in the Paris-Dakar Rally in 1984 and 1985. Over the years, the Panda has seen numerous special editions, which are now highly sought after by more experienced enthusiasts. A veritable craze has developed around the all-wheel-drive Panda. They are collected, restored, driven, and jealously guarded, because resisting a Panda is practically impossible.
The Panda 4x4 was introduced in June 1983. A friendly and kind elderly couple, born in 1945 and living in the quiet and clean province between Como and Milan, immediately recognized the potential of the Panda 4x4, and since 2001, it has become their mainstay. As can be seen from the registration documents, in the last seven years, the car has only traveled 7, 000 km, or approximately 1, 000 km per year, until revoked license due to age. This Panda 4x4, always cared for and stored in a ventilated garage, is still in original condition, proudly displaying its 80, 834 original kilometers, impeccable factory paint, and perfect interior for its age. The Panda's meticulous care over the years is evident at first glance; signs of aging are virtually nonexistent.
