1996 E200 S124, one of the last 'real' Mercs. in lovely original corrosion free condition and with very low genuine mileage. This car has spent more time garaged than on the road and presents beautifully in Tourmaline Green. Newish Michelins all round, excellent interior upholstery and trims, unused spare.
The car is a 4 speed automatic and drives really well as might be expected of a vehicle of this quality. The engine is the 111. 940 twin cam version fitted, I think, in the last year or two of production.
A major service was carried out on purchase last year and I have covered about 2500 faultless miles since.
I have been disposing of a number of cars, mostly pre-war, prior to a downsizing house move. I have seriously considered keeping the car as a daily driver but I feel that it deserves a better life as a classic.
