I have owned the car since Nov 2018
Mechanical condition good, brakes renewed with majority of life left, Eibach Pro Street height adjustable coilovers fitted (£1, 500). Suspension rubbers and track rod ends replaced. Garage Service history available until my ownership where I self serviced the car. Recent local garage oil/ filter change. No other modifications.
Cosmetic condition needs some work to make pristine. Exterior: wheels could use refurbishment, roof has some lacquer peel so needs a respray. No other damage to bodywork or lights. Rubber seals on rear windows perishing, Interior very good condition, some wear to fabric on drivers side bolsters. Roof lining sagging and needs replacement. Other than that it’s very good condition interior with no damage to trim or dash.
This car was owned by a VW mechanic prior to my ownership and was fully restored in his ownership. It has won numerous show and shine competitions and also has provenance as the actual Mk3 golf used in the Jeremy Clarkson video “Heaven and Hell” (picture in listing with other golfs beside it).
