Reluctantly selling my BMW Z4 Coupe. A rare spec, with full M Sport package, manual gearbox and two-tone red/ black interior. MOT until November 2026.
The car is a joy to drive, with the naturally aspirated engine in great condition, pulling effortlessly through all gears with no knocks, whines or strange noises. A fantastic factory example, the only modification being the removal of the run-flat tyres. These were recently replaced with Michelin Pilot Sport 5's all round, meaning there is plenty of tread left.
Currently on 100, 248 miles, though this will rise as it is still in occasional use. The car has a good service history, with the last service done at 93, 500. I've owned the car for 2. 5 years and done over 16, 000 miles, during which time it hasn't missed a beat.
Works done in my ownership include:
- Front and rear brake discs and pads replaced
- Valve cover replaced, including new valve cover gasket and Valvetronic motor gasket
- Full inspection I service - oil change including filter, air filter, pollen filter, spark plugs replaced. Brake fluid + coolant inspection.

- Driver's seat memory settings
- Rear parking sensors
- 6 CD changer
- Automatic xenon headlights and rain sensing wipers
- 18" Split Rim 108 Style Alloys
- Folding wing mirrors
- Dimming rear view mirror
- Driver and Passeneger's cupholders
The bad points to note - there are a couple of minor cosmetic marks (stone chips and a small dent on passenger door), as you would expect for a car of its age, but I have tried to show these in the photographs as best as possible. Also I only have the one key. With so few of these Coupe models around, particularly with a manual gearbox, the E86 is certainly becoming a modern classic and a true head turner. The N52 engine is a delight, with a smooth power curve but plenty of low end torque and always wanting to be revved. Plus, the shape of the coupe means the boot is surprisingly large, making the E86 a perfect vehicle for either an enthusiastic weekend drive, or a week long road trip.
