For sale is my superb condition Yamaha RD 250 in butterfly blue , a UK model from new registered in London on 19, 11, 1973. The bike has been in my ownership for the last 13 years and has been trouble free in that time , completely standard condition except for stainless steel spokes fitted , this bike has matching frame and engine numbers and is still running its original regulator / rectifier so many have been converted with the usual butchering of the wiring loom to make them fit also it still runs on its factory points and condensers so no electronic control box rammed under the seat where there isnt enough room for it . The bike is rust free including the seat base and is still fitted with its original Yamaha seat cover in immaculate condition . The key is genuine Yamaha and has its rubber cover it would have had from new , bikes as original and unmolested as this dont come up for sale often most of them are USA imports fitted with a drum front brake or have wrong parts fitted or need a lot of work to make them right again , the front and rear mudguards are in superb condition with no corrosion on the undersides and the front mudguard still has its original UK number plate fitted . The previous owner carried out some restoration work on the bike and reset the mileometer to zero so please disregard the mileage reading . The price is a guide price and I am open to negotiation .
