I’ve wanted one of these for years now and have somehow ended up with 2 of these now. The other is a 20, 000 miles example so this now has to go unfortunately. I wanted to keep this one to use in order to preserve the low miles of the other one. But I have found another car I’ve been after for a while now and this must go unfortunately.
A nice original example that is extremely clean for the mileage. Having only a minor scrape to the front arch and a scab on the one rear arch.
Does have a short shifter fitted and the clutch pedal seems a little heavier than usual. Might just be me but that’s how it feels. Runs and drives extremely well, with all gear changes being spot on.
I purchased the car from the previous owner stating he had noticed a bit of smoke occasionally coming from the exhaust after boost. But then nothing at all. This only happened the once and wasn’t prevalent on any test drives either. I’m no mechanic but this was apparently down to a blocked boost pipe and has since been rectified/ resolved. It hasn’t smoked once in my ownership, but again I’d rather be honest with people.
