It drives with confident stability and few unwelcome surprises, especially in the wet. Private sale of unique jigs, tools and design rights for Blackjack Zero £20, 000 ono
Following a day out at Brooklands ‘Air-cooled Day’ in about 2002, I was very inspired by the warrior looks of the racing Morgans, which led me to create an all-new three-wheeler to follow the success of our Blackjack Avion. The main design drivers were more power, wider track and of course for best driveability, front wheel drive. From 2002 our new three-wheeler took shape, by design, chassis making, pattern making, prototype building and so on. So, by 2005, the first Blackjack Zero was ready to drive and felt good from the start.
During the following decade, twenty sets of parts were made. Most were sold as kits for their owners to construct. Customers did a good job and several were exceptional builders and the rest I built myself. The most recent being chassis No. 17, which I constructed in 2024, whilst retired.
From memory, VW engined Zeros numbered about 6, Guzzi’s were 13, so total production - 19
Judging from the amazing interest and enthusiasm we’ve had to our current BJ Zero picture campaign, it seems that our three-wheeler is still admired and could have a busy future with a new owner. So, we have decided to sell our Blackjack Zero interests. This means selling our jigs, fixtures, moulds, drawings and useful information, plus the design rights. In addition, a quantity of unique and other parts used in building Blackjacks. All the above has been dry stored for the last twelve years and is in very good condition
