BMW e46 325i
Here we have a bone stock, totally original BMW E46 325i M Sport for sale. Owned for the past 7 years & covered low miles in our ownership. Preserving the originality & maintaining a healthy aesthetical appearance meant the 325i needed a sympathetic light restoration of the bodywork. Covering 145k miles, the front end had seen its fair share of stone chips. The 325i also has inherent rust issues that form around the rear corner arches where it meets the rear bumper & ours developed small rust scabs left & right… very common on these E46 platforms. These areas were bare metalled & done professionally to a high standard costing just under £2k
The recently serviced bullet proof M54 engine is sweet as a nut & silky smooth. No leaks or unwanted noises coming from there, complete with full service history. Interior is very good; the black leather is in impeccable condition showing little to no signs of wear either on the drivers or passengers seats. In our ownership, the rears haven’t been used at all.
Original style 32 alloy wheels have been treated to a full powder coat refurbishment in silver & shod with Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres all round. To complement the wheels, new discs & pads together with new calipers on all 4 corners that’s been professionally painted & installed.
Boot is clean, all the factory equipment is present; jack, wheel chock, emergency triangle, space saver wheel & a complete set of BMW tools under the boot lid. All electrics work as they should.
Underneath is solid, not been welded anywhere & treated to lanoguard annually. The only modification here is the stainless steel rear backbox (delete). In stock form, these cars are whisper quiet & having owned many before this, a simple backbox delete brings out that glorious 6 cylinder symphony at unobtrusive levels. The original exhaust comes with the sale, should you wish to revert back to stock… but that would be boring wouldn’t it!
For her age, this 3 series is in very good condition & maintained to high standards, however she’s 24 years old & does bare age related marks here & there which is to be expected.
Being the wife’s car & since moving over to a 1 series, the 325i isn’t being used & is time to move on. These are getting very rare now, especially unmolested stock examples as this one. The price reflects the condition & wants for nothing. Would prefer an outright sale, however could consider a px on a classic, retro, Japanese or something different, try me.
