The Not so good aspects:
•The top side windows leak in heavy rain. This is the worst thing about this van. I have tried fixing this leak using silicone sealant to no avail. I believe the windows may require new seals or better silicone. The rain leak caused minor damage to the inside panel last year and the panel was replaced, but the felt covering material does not look good cosmetically, See photo
•This van developed a battery fault during the winter where the battery went flat. As a precaution to avoid this happening again I now disconnect the battery when the van is parked up and the battery has not gone flat since
•Cosmetically this van looks rough. Externally it has dents, scratches, minor surface rust, and imperfections everywhere. The interior is tidy but isn't perfect and does have marks and imperfections in places
•This van is non turbo which means it's slow especially when going up hills
Overall it's a simple van that is well equipped in terms of features and served us as our first motorhome. We purchased it a year ago. This example is nearly 30 years old and is quite nice to drive in and round town. It pulls along well on motorways, is easy to park and the driving position offers a commanding view ahead. Being a non turbo makes it slow when accelerating especially up hills, it's alright once it has gained momentum.
We are selling as have upgraded to a bigger van and this one is surplus to requirements.
I recommend viewing this motorhome and a test drive. The price can be discussed / is negotiable.
