Description
This rare 500cc Royal Enfield Bullet was first registered in Denmark in 1934. It was part of a special batch of 6 machines ordered with hand change gearboxes. It has a sporty 4-valve cylinder head and accelerates beautifully. It was brought back to the UK in 2008 and since then has had the tank repainted, the magneto rewound, the wheels rebuilt with green and gold lining and the carburettor cleaned. The bike comes with a comprehensive folder showing its restoration including many photographs.
1930's Bullets, especially the 500 which was capable of close to 90 mph when new, are hard to find. This one has the period correct speedometer, Amal Tidy Levers and the unique centrestand which doubles up as a two-sided prop stand which is released by the rear brake pedal.
Collect in person from Halifax, West Yorkshire. Alternatively, I have a small van and can deliver it anywhere in the UK at cost.
