Excellent example of a 1964 early Unit Triumph Bonneville T120R. Extensively restored with sympathetic upgrades ready to be used.
The bike has been meticulously maintained and carried for. It has been extensively restored over the last few seasons and over the last couple of months has again been overhauled with some sympathetic upgrades to make it ready for everyday use this summer.
Upgrades include:
SRM Primary Belt drive conversion
SRM 7 plate multi friction kit
SRM Pressure plate kit
Cush drive overhaul with new rubbers, bushes, rollers and back plate
Boyer Micro Digital Electronic ignition with Micro Power coils.
Carbs have had a complete strip down, sonic clean and rebuilt with Amal genuine parts (bought direct form Amal) including new floats, needles, jets, gaskets etc. Carbs show no signs of wear. New fuel lines were also installed with the overhauled carbs.
Michelin Road Classic tyres (90 miles use)
Gearbox overhaul with new selector forks, springs and camplate now giving faultless gear changes.
Swing arm overhaul with new bushes, spacers and spindle.
Fuel tank has been epoxy lined by Tank Care Products to protect from the ethanol in modern fuels.
Bar end mirrors fitted, can be removed if preferred, I will include new grips with the sale.
Engine was professionally rebuilt as part of an earlier restoration in the mid 2010s.
1262 miles on the clock which is the mileage covered since the engine was rebuilt.
Paint and Chrome all in very good condition.
