Steyr Puch Haflinger for Sale.
Long-wheelbase 703APT, 1972, Series 2, 5-speed, tropical version, left hand drive.
60, 427 km, ex Electricity board of Portugal (Lisbon) vehicle.
Fully restored with re-paint/ powder coating, with new fabricated bespoke body, canvas tilt and many other parts.
No expense spared.
When my father was very elderly he told me he had always wanted a Haflinger, so I bought this one and fully re-stored it, then presented it to him as a surprise. He never actually drove it (due to his declining health) but used to go and admire it in his garage.
He died a few years ago and due to several other project vehicles waiting in my shed I decided it is time to sell it.
Many improvements and upgrades with specifications including
- New wiring loom, DC breakers fitted (not fuses), 80 Ah AGM battery, battery isolator (with removable key).
- Engine overhaul and re-paint/ powder coat.
- New engine hinging cover with gas spring assistors and sound proofing.
- New shock absorbers, brake cylinders, hoses and shoes etc.
- Many gaiters, seals, gaskets and all hoses renewed.
