Probably one of the most icon cars of a generation. I absolutely love it, possibly the 'best' car I'll ever own.
Black, auto, with cream interior. I bought it in 2014. It’s completely stock and unmessed with apart from I swapped the nivomats out when they started leaking and fitted Koni FSD shocks & Eibach Pro springs, make it a bit sharper handling too.
Lots of work done over the years, in the last 12months - PCV system, new rad, some hoses etc. I’ve got it all recorded in a spreadsheet if interested. DMW in south west London have done the work on it recently and have been great so they can vouch for it.
~150k miles - speedo says 129k but the odo cog went a few years back (common issue) and I bought a replacement but never bothered to fit it - I don’t do many miles (I have two other classics and only drive it really If we go away for the wkend). It does easily less than 2k a year. I went to South France last summer with my eldest, never missed a beat.
It is a well used, but well looked after 30yr old car. Mechanically all good, but the bad bits are aesthetic, the paint is looking a bit sorry in places, lacquer fail on the roof, couple of dints and scratches, bumper corner thanks to a learner driver in the carpark! I sourced a good condition white rear bumper (took ages to find) just needs to respraying to match…
I genuinely love the car, I will regret selling it, but I need something that I care about less for the kids, lugging bikes around etc.
