1998 Toyota Land Cruiser 100 JDM VX Limited - Rear Locker - Genuine TRD Kit - Never Towed - Pearlescent White.
A rare first-year JDM Toyota Land Cruiser 100 VX Limited with the 4. 7 V8, factory rear locker, genuine colour-matched TRD body kit, seven seats, AHC suspension and a carefully owned, never-towed history.
I’ve owned this Land Cruiser for five years and it has been used as a family car, not a workhorse. It has never been off-roaded and has never towed. Its hardest job has been carrying electric bikes on a tow bar-mounted rack. This matters because many 100-Series Land Cruisers have spent years towing, working hard, or being used in mud. This one hasn’t. It drives tightly, feels responsive, and has clearly had a much easier life than most.
Being a Japanese Domestic Market import, the underside is in excellent condition, the chassis has not been hidden under thick black underseal. I have intentionally left it visible so buyers can see the true condition of the metal. It has been treated every spring with a Lanoguard-style product. There is no structural rot and no hidden patching. Detailed underside photos are included.
The car is finished in 057 Pearlescent White and presents very well. It is fitted with a genuine, colour-matched TRD full body kit, which gives it real presence without looking overdone.
Inside, it has the full VX Limited JDM cabin with woodgrain trim, Optitron instrument cluster and seven seats. Official bespoke seat covers have protected the upholstery for years. I've removed most of the covers for the photographs so you can see the condition underneath. The interior is excellent for its age.
It also has a professionally fitted Kenwood Double DIN head unit with Apple CarPlay, Samsung/ Android Auto, Bluetooth hands-free and USB music playback. The speakers were upgraded with quality replacements, and an alarm and tracker were fitted at the same time.
Front and rear cameras are integrated, making it much easier to manoeuvre than you might expect for something this size.
Mechanically, the 4. 7L V8 2UZ-FE is smooth, quiet and starts perfectly. The rare factory electric rear differential locker is fully functional and tested. The AHC Active Height Control suspension works properly across all settings, and a video is available if required.
It has been serviced every year and has recently serviced with new rear discs and pads, plus an overhaul of the rear brake callipers. It also has a set of brand-new tyres with less than 200 miles on them.

It is currently running on New Old Stock LC200 steel wheels with the correct hub-centric spacers, giving it a clean, rugged look.
The sale also includes the original 20-inch JDM split-rim alloys. These are rare and desirable, but they do need refurbishment to bring them back to show standard.
This is an honest, open-book Land Cruiser for someone who understands what they’re looking at. Rare spec, strong provenance, clean chassis, desirable options and five years of careful ownership.

The private reg will not be sold with the vehicle. The front part of the trim on the RHS roof bar is missing and there is some small paint loss on the rails in the odd place, they are still funtional and included in the sale (they're easily removed). There's a small 1" cut in the rear bumber (above the LHS exhausts, viewable in the images) and some small dents in the rear lower tailgate both have been there since I've owned her, they've never bothered me and honestly you just don't notice them. The front head lamp washer's have never worked, (I've never investegated why, it's probably something simple). I've kept on top of stonechips as they've happened and the cars bodywork in geniunely in fantastic condition - it polishes up beautifully! The exhaust note is a deep rumble and very intoxicating without being overly loud. The timing belt/ water pump and transmission oils were all changed when I took ownership. It's a fantastic car to drive and be seen in (people are always keen to talk about her with me) and I know the next keepers will love owning her, geniunely this car has never missed a beat!There is a soul in this Land Cruiser that modern SUVs simply cannot replicate.
