Condition:
Engine always starts first time & runs perfectly, mechanically zero issues, VTEC engages at 6000rpm, no smoke, no warning lights on dash
Gearbox is perfect, very smooth changes.
Clutch is light & precise, plenty of life left in it
All original bodywork is very good, it’s a 29 year old car which has been used frequently, so has stone chips which have been touched up and the odd minor dents, blemishes. Front bumper has minor scrapes from speedbumps as was previously sitting very low on coilovers. There is no rust on rear arches or sills, a common DC2 on most cars but not this one.
Underside is very clean, was professionally undersealed a few years ago. I had this inspected few weeks ago by a vehicle preserve specialist and garage owner said car was solid underneath
Interior is factory standard with exception of steering wheel, its in excellent condition, seats are well bolstered including the side supports with no sagging. Seat base webbing recently replaced using genuine Recaro parts for £200.
Electric windows and mirrors work perfectly, as does everything else.
Car has been kept in home garage since my purchase, on a trickle charger, used only in dry weather
Always fuelled using Shell V Power 99 E5, with all receipts
Original handbooks (in Japanese) and I have all paperwork & receipts, basically a full folder which makes good reading! Car has clearly been cherished by all of its owners

This is a near original, low mileage type-r Honda from the 90’s, it’s a raw, very loud and lightweight, racing car for the road and nothing like more contemporary hot hatches. Ready to enjoy straight away by next lucky owner. Values going up for examples like these.
Reason for selling is after 2 years and me now getting older, I need a new quieter 'old man's car' with automatic!! I bought this car as I missed my 2000 DC2 Integra Type R too much, so needed to buy this and spend few years with one before it was too late for me!
