I acquired this beautiful VW in 2016, it was part of a VW campaign on social media #YourVW
VW acquired it and had it professionally resprayed and road legal.
It’s had 6 former keepers in its 53 years originally started out with Oldham Council.
I do believe it has been a show vehicle in its life time I previously won best in class at Tatton VW festival.
It runs well it’s dry stored there a couple of paint blemishes which can be sorted all totally original including the engine, which I have the certificate from VW
Wolfsburg. Barry's Beetle" refers to a 2016 Volkswagen UK campaign directed by Amanda Blue that featured Barry Openshaw, who shared nostalgic memories of his father's 1970s gold VW Beetle.
