Here for sale is my very original unrestored Mv Agusta America 750s.
Only selling because I’ve got 9 other bikes and I’m making room for a Porsche 911 Gts
This Mv was manufactured in 1977, went to America where it was never uncrated and remained unsold, (this is all documented) a Uk dealer then imported it for a customer in Surrey. it wasn't Uk registered until 1980 for this reason.
With only 4 previous owners the Mv looks to have lead a charmed life, it has an almost unbroken year on year full mot history verifying its 27, 857 miles.
I’ve owned the bike for the last 5 years, only covering 400 miles in that time. Prior to my ownership it had a clean health check at Italia-classics in Lincoln.
The bike hasn't been subject to any cosmetic renovation, it’s virtually as it left the factory, remember they’re only original once and they don’t often come along much more original than this one, unlike most you see this ones still on its original scarab brake callipers- which is unusual as they mostly get replaced with Brembos.
During my ownership I always ensure it has fresh petrol every year. I drain the old fuel after winter - and I use that in the mower, then I go and fill up with fresh fuel, using an inhibitor and octane booster.
I dropped the carb bowls this morning before going for its first ride of the season - and they were as clean as a whistle. It started on the button then I went for a 40 mile ride getting it well warmed up.
The bike had the Magni exhaust fitted when it was only 18 months old, but the standard almost perfect Lafranconi exhaust pipes come as part of the sale.
The bikes exclusively for sale on here at a price I arrived at after consulting with 2 well known auction houses at the Stafford Classic bike show.
Having personally seen the recent bikes sold at auction I think mine’s a great opportunity with it being a comparatively regular used example and will be a sound investment, and don’t forget they’re only original once..!!! going forward I’ll give it a few weeks on here, if it doesn’t sell I’ll probably put it to auction.
