Description
A very unusual post war sports saloon - not to be confused with the very similar 10. 4 Cylinder 2 litre engine from the roots group. Has hydralic brakes rather than mechanical and although a side valve engine holds its own reasonably well in modern traffic. This car is largely original but has not been used for a couple of years since my deteriorating health. Appears to be a low owner car, about three years ago a former owner, had traced the car through the club and wanted a final look at the car - unfortunatly this never happened but suggests that since there is only one other owner and me that the car may well have only had 3 or 4 owners. I have used the car to take to shows and it has also apperaed in a few films - one photo taken on set of Foyals War - a very good exampleSee above, an unusual car needing light re-commissioning through standing in the garage. It probably would not win any prizes but would not be a disgrace to its new owner either. I shall be sorry to see it go.
