It’s a nice bike with the boxer twin engine. I know nothing about bikes but it’s in very good condition bar a few scrapes on the mirrors and panniers etc. I don’t have a motorcycle license but my housemate has ridden it briefly and says it runs and rides well. It was bought from a current BMW motorcycle mechanic as ready to go and I have no reason to disbelieve this.
It’s done 50, 000 miles and has a pretty complete service history, mostly with BMW dealers and specialists around London.
Very recently, and very few miles ago, the following has been done. There are receipts totalling over £1, 300 in recent parts expenditure in the file.
New clutch assembly, new rear main seal, brake discs and pads (brembo front, EBC rear), new battery, new (correct font) number plate, new fuel filter, new brake reservoir bellows, new throttle cable. It’s also had a full service of the engine, gearbox and bevel drive, injectors cleaned, idle balanced, wiring re-wrapped and the forks and bar ends have been painted. The electric screen works.
The only fault I’m aware of is the ABS is not working, but the module is present.
