This Ford Mustang GT Antonov AR500 is a powerful modern classic muscle car, distinguished by its very rare Antonov two-speed supercharger system and its early life as a SEMA show car. It has been extensively upgraded with forged internals, braking and suspension enhancements, and perfect for an enthusiast seeking a rare, one-off build.
It is powered by a supercharged 4. 6-litre V8 with forged internals, driving the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The car has been fitted with a bespoke induction system, intercoolers, uprated braking, suspension upgrades, and several aesthetic enhancements.
The car was originally a US-delivered model, which was first registered in January 2005, before it was imported to the UK and first registered with the DVLA in September 2007.
The odometer indicates 38, 950 miles and is backed up with a folder full of paperwork and invoices for the original build and maintenance. The car is accompanied by two keys, a history file with import documents, the original purchase paperwork from Clark’s Motor Company (Ohio), Antonov PLC correspondence, and service records / invoices.
This Mustang GT is finished in metallic silver paint with a contrasting matte-black racing stripe, with a black leather interior. The exterior and interior of the car are both in excellent condition.
The car rides on an aftermarket set of 20-inch 8. 5J front and 10J rear Eagle Boss 226 alloy wheels finished in gloss grey with polished lips, and shod in Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres all round.
Equipment includes air conditioning (blows ice cold), cruise control, electric windows, leather seats, a partially electrically adjustable driver’s seat, and traction control.
Modifiications include a forged 4340 steel crankshaft and connecting rods, forged aluminium pistons, an Antonov step-up two-speed supercharger with Rotrex C38-81 planetary drive, a custom aluminium intake manifold, Laminova intercoolers, a modified cold air intake, a Diablo Mafia MAF extender, a Diablosport ECU tune, and a Corsa axle-back exhaust which sounds awesome.
Additional upgrades include Baer GT front brakes, Eradispeed Plus rear brakes, a Ford Racing strut tower brace, and a Ford Racing handling pack featuring lowering springs, struts, and dampers.
Cosmetic enhancements include a Cervini cowl bonnet, a wrap-around ducktail spoiler, a ribbed centre rear panel, a Classic Design Concepts chin spoiler and C-pillar scoops.
Interior modifications include a Classic Design Concepts upper dashboard gauge pod with triple Maximum Performance fuel pressure, boost pressure and oil pressure gauges and a double-DIN Pioneer stereo unit. The car comes with a thick folder full of documentation and invoices for servicing, maintenance and other work carried out. This includes the original invoice for the car, plus the invoice for the original custom build.
Recent Maintenance
In December 2025 the alloy wheels were professionally refurbished by Lepsons alloy wheel specialists and are immaculate. The car was also fitted with new rear brake pads.
The last service was performed in August 2025 at 38, 206 miles by Brads Classics and Specialist Cars, Sparkford, comprising an engine oil change, and the cleaning of a blocked rear differential breather.
In August 2024 at 36, 679 miles, it received an engine oil and filter service, new catalytic converters to meet California emissions standards, and replacement of O2 sensors.
In August 2023 at 35, 538 miles, the engine oil was replaced, a new steering tie rod and track rod end were fitted, the tracking was adjusted, and a replacement fuel gauge stepper motor was fitted.
