Description
Three owners from new. Both previous owners were women who kept the car garaged or barn stored throughout their ownership, sheltering it from harsh British winters. I have continued that same approach - always garaged during winter months, covered during wet days and kept off the road in poor conditions.
The car was purchased privately and has been carefully maintained throughout. It has just passed its MOT with absolutely zero advisories - remarkable for a 25 year old car and a genuine reflection of how well it has been looked after.
56, 000 miles from new, exceptionally low for its age and entirely consistent with a car that has spent most of its life in storage rather than on the road.
There is minor surface rust in places consistent with age, a few light surface scratches, and the alloy wheels show wear, believed to be the original set or only replaced once. All shown honestly and clearly in the photos.
The interior has been fully customised when it was bought new with cream leather throughout - seats, gear gaiter and gear knob, with a carbon/ silver diamond-pattern trim covering the centre console and dash surround. The original head unit has been replaced with a Pioneer DEH Series stereo with Bluetooth, Spotify, USB and hands-free calling.
A custom fitted car cover is included in the sale.
The car is being offered remotely as the owner is currently based overseas. Viewings are warmly welcomed and will be arranged through a family member locally in Evesham.
Contact by email then I can give you my WhatsApp for easier communication. I bought this car because I've always loved what the SLK 320 represents - a proper V6 engine, a 6-speed manual gearbox, rear-wheel drive and that iconic electric folding roof, all in a compact and beautifully proportioned roadster. There really isn't anything else like it at this price point, and they're only going to become harder to find in this condition.
What makes this particular car so special is its provenance. Knowing it spent the vast majority of its life tucked away in garages and a barn, cared for by owners who genuinely looked after it, gives me real confidence in it. The 56, 000 miles tells that story better than anything.
The custom interior is my favourite thing about it. The cream leather against the carbon diamond trim looks genuinely stunning, and every time someone sits in it for the first time they comment on it immediately. Combined with the pearl blue exterior it's a head turning combination that stands completely apart from your typical used car listing.
Selling it is a reluctant decision, I work overseas and don't get anywhere near enough time behind the wheel to do it justice. It deserves long summer drives with the roof down and an owner who has the time to truly enjoy it. Hopefully it finds exactly that.
