Audi S4 Quattro 4. 2 V8. With the all important Manual gearbox.
The V8 engine produces 339bhp, coupled to a six-speed manual transmission and Audi's famed Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
Almost entirely original and unmodified, but with a Milltek exhaust system. A fast four-seat convertible, in an appealing colour scheme.
Specified in the attractive hue of Sprint Blue over a black leather interior, this S4 is equipped with the Servotronic variable steering assistance system, sport suspension, heated and electrically adjustable seats with lumbar support, and self-adjusting headlights.
It rides on the correct set of 18-inch, six-spoke alloy wheels, which have recently been refurbished with new Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres.
While it is almost entirely unmodified, the car has been fitted with a more vocal Milltek exhaust system, a common complaint with the S4 is the muted note. It also has upgraded front and rear brake discs. I also have the rear wind deflector with original case in the boot.
This handsome cabriolet will be accompanied by its original owner's manual and other handbooks contained in their correct wallet, as well as its stamped service book and invoices for its maintenance. I have looked after the car using an Audi specialist and within my ownership replaced the battery (which I have on trickle charge in the garage) the radiators, refurbed the headlights, lower arms as well as a few electrical niggles. It now drives so well
Just had a fresh service and MOT. Minor things to note is- light bumper scratches (car park!) which I have touched up but you may want to respray if annoying. It likes to be started and driven, slight crack in the rear light cluster (again not me!)The engine is the star of this car and having four comfortable seats for everyone to enjoy is a real bonus. The car just pulls and pulls.
When compared to its contemporary the M3, the S4 feels like such a bargain right now and the feeling is they will only increase in value. I've loved owning the S4 and if I had a larger garage would keep it.
The private plate feels right to carry over with the car so although I could sell it privately will include this with the sale.
It has a few minor niggles that can be sorted easily but if you're looking for summer fun with a soft top that still looks so classy, this just might be for you. Please call with any questions and I'd be happy to show you the car in person
