Description
Acquired in 1989 when I was living overseas and imported by me in 1991. Matching numbers and dating letter from BMW Munich. Now registered as a Historic Vehicle (although I continue to have an annual MOT). Standard bike, apart from 'Alpina' paint scheme.
Is running fine and is quite smart. Stainless exhaust (unmarked), period Krauser carrier/ pannier frames, Goodridge brake lines and decent Metzler tyres. Comes with Haynes and BMW workshop manuals and a few spares and tools accumulated over my 37 years of ownership.
Recent work includes an Odyssey battery (June 2024), brake caliper overhaul (August 2024) and fork overhaul (August 2022).
