Kawasaki Z1000 A2. In excellent condition. Owned by me for several years. Tax and MOT exempt. This is a good, clean, honest bike. It's not mint but it is very very nice. Of course, the odd mark here and there as you would expect on any bike nearly 50 years old. Chrome work is excellent with no pitting to the fork stanchions. There is no damage to any of the engine fins, the engine starts easily and pulls nicely through the gears. Tyres are excellent, as are the chain and sprockets. Still has the genuine air box fitted with the rear silencer. Handbook and toolkit are there. Seat base is all good. Everything works on the bike, even the hazard warning lights. It's an unmolested bike that still retains the correct genuine handlebars, switch gear, grips, headlight ears etc. One key works all locks including the steering lock with the genuine original lion key. Tank is spotless inside, carburettors are clean and crisp and pull through the rev range nicely. Frame paintwork is very good. Hagon rear shocks and braided hoses fitted. Genuine date stamped Takasago wheels with good spokes and nice chrome. Mileage is correct at 19, 000 miles and the bike was serviced last year. Delkevic exhaust fitted recently. Centre stand is still in place, as is the original chain guard. I could go on and on but just phone me if you want more information, a video of it running or more photos. If you are looking for a stripped into a thousand pieces and then put back together restored trailer queen, this will not be for you. If you are looking for a bike that always draws a crowd, you can jump on and use any time and unusually is very very original with all the correct nuts and bolts etc then this may be for you. It has been loved and wants for nothing.
