Description
A very honest and increasingly hard-to-find BMW E30 320i finished in Luxor Beige Metallic with beige leather interior.
This is not a restored concours car, nor is it a heavily modified project. It is a genuine, usable classic E30 that still retains the feel and character that make these cars so desirable today.
The car was converted from automatic to manual approximately a year ago by a BMW specialist friend and the conversion completely transforms the driving experience, especially with the z3 shortshifter. It now drives exactly how an E30 should.
The odometer currently reads approximately 86, 000 miles.

Suspension & Mechanical
The car starts, runs and drives very well and has exactly the analogue BMW feel that makes E30s so enjoyable.
The suspension has recently been refreshed with:
GAZ shocks
Eibach springs
E30 M3 offset lollipop bushes
The car also benefits from an aftermarket manifold and PBMW exhaust, giving the straight-six a lovely classic BMW tone without being over the top.
Condition
The Luxor Beige Metallic paintwork suits the E30 shape beautifully and gives the car a very period-correct late 1980s BMW look. The car sits very well on the BBS wheels and retains a clean, understated factory appearance.
It presents nicely overall and gets attention wherever it goes, but please remember this is a genuine 37-year-old BMW and not a perfect show car. There are age-related marks and areas of corrosion, including around the sills and rear valance, all shown honestly in the photographs.
The interior still has a lovely original feel. The seats are usable but do show age-related wear, including splits to the leather as photographed. The original dashboard remains crack-free, which is becoming increasingly rare on E30s.
History
The car comes with some old receipts and paperwork accumulated.
Reason for Sale
The only reason for sale is lack of use. I currently have other cars and simply don't drive the E30 enough to justify keeping it. The proceeds will be going towards a sim racing setup to help channel my inner Verstappen.
The car deserves to be used and enjoyed by someone who can give it the time and attention it deserves.
Optional 2. 7 Stroker Parts Package
I had originally intended to build a 2. 7 stroker engine for the car, however too many projects and not enough time means that is no longer going to happen.
The following parts are available separately by negotiation:
New boxed Schrick 272 camshaft
M20 block bored by Mike Lowman Engineering (requires final decking)
885 cylinder head
320i conrods
£1000 for the complete package.
This is a genuinely charming E30 that feels like an authentic surviving example rather than an over-restored garage queen. A usable modern classic that can be enjoyed immediately while still leaving scope for improvement over time if desired.
Viewings welcome.
