JAMES COMET 1956 Age related number, V5C in my name.
I purchased this a while ago in bits, But complete.
I stripped the engine and replaced 3 crank seals and main bearings,
The big end and bore was excellent. I rebuilt the wheels, New tyres and tubes.
I sprayed the tank, mudguards and headlight, The remainder of the bike I think
is original. Last year I had it running. Gears engage and clutch works but drags.
(140 oil the problem). Lights were working. Gears on the handlebars. Being sold as a non runner. West Sussex Gears on the handlebars.
