This concours condition and show winning BSA forming part of my private BSA collection Is reluctantly for sale due to age and health, whilst having won shows it also rides fantastically well.
A total restoration was finished in 2017 at great expense running well in to five figures (excluding labour)and included a Quaiffe 5 spd box, belt primary, Srm lead free head and engine work, dream machine paint, electrics by ferrets electrickery, rechromed original rayguns and horns and everything else either new, rebuilt or restored . A serious amount of money has been put into this machine to present it in this condition.
This bike is resplendent in all respects.
A massive indexed file containing receipts, work done records, green log book and v5’s, mot’s, tax discs and history dating back to the seventies.
A hard back genuine workshop manual, original riders handbook, toolkit, advertising brochures and featured magazine article are all present.
This bike was sold in 2019 at a respected classic emporium for £17000,
Obviously values have softened considerably since but i believe you could not find a better example now, the best of course never comes cheap.
It rides and handles exceptionally well, sounding glorious.
Very recently fitted with a new electronic ignition , battery and a bsa logo ed cover.
