Here we have an absolutely stunning 1978 Lambretta Jet 200, it’s been subject to a full nut and bolt restoration to the highest standard back to original specifications.
It has the correct SX200 matching frame and engine numbers.
What makes this particular example special is that it’s a rare Italian export model, these were painted in this beautiful metallic Burgundy colour for the Italian market (the last picture shows it in the Sevetta Italian brochure)
The original engine was also fully rebuilt back to factory standards, it still has its original Autisa barrel, 20mm Dellorto carb, 42mm clubman, and Ducati 12 volt ignition timing.
It looks and rides superb and is period correct in every detail, it runs like a Swiss watch and is quite fast and smooth.
All the details are correct for this year including the unique air box, El Tigra seat, speedo and switchgear.
£6000 was spent on the total restoration.
It has loads of paperwork with it including the LCGB dating certificate which proves origin and authenticity, it’s also a historic vehicle so is tax and MOT exempt.
