Description
Here is my 1993 lazurblau metallic BMW e32 740i manual project car 167, 000miles. It is generally in good condition however it’s not perfect which is expected from a car its age. The bodywork isn’t amazing as it does have some dents (mostly dings in the doors but not that noticeable). Ideally it wants a respray to look perfect but still doesn’t look bad. The interior is in decent shape as it does have 170k miles.
It has had loads of work done over my 2 years of ownership including:
-PMC motorsport manual swap (cost £2k)
-lightweight flywheel and ceramic clutch.
-New brake discs and pads
-front and rear suspension fully rebuilt mostly new parts.
-loads of new sensors, modules and engine parts. (MAF, water pump, etc)
-engine has just been serviced
-refurbished 18” 8. 5j and 9. 5j style 32 alloys with very good tyres.
-underbody undersealed and rust repaired.
-fuel tank cleaned out along with new fuel pump.
-new front windshield
-black headliner
-whole car cavity waxed to prevent rust.
-rust free sunroof which now works.
-black hella style lights (i can throw in the amber indicators too i just prefer these).
-ECU chip making it +/- 300hp (i also have the stock ecu which i can throw in).
-fixed all the seat electrics.
-loads of other little bits have been done but the list is too long.
Bad bits:
-the front jacking points are dented from the car standing on axle stands for a long time.
(Still passes mot)
-no cats making the emissions smell like petrol.
-driver side headrest motor doesn’t work but I have a replacement just haven’t fit it.
-some little issues such as some trims having broken clips.
Please don’t come or text expecting a brand new car as it is 33 years old and has its issues.
The asking price is £7, 000 but I’m open to offers. I can do £6, 000 without the wheels. Very cool and fast car which has been well cared for. The only reason I’m selling it is to fund my new project.
